My wife invited me rather pointedly to accompany her to an exhibit of the works of
Jean Paul Gaultier at the De Young in San Francisco (through Aug. 19). He's the guy that put the pointy cones on Madonna's breasts, and clothed folks so exuberantly in
The Fifth Element. Here I'm taking him to refer to The Fates:
